Can you tell us a bit about yourself : Graduation year, GPA, High School, Travel Team, and how you got into playing baseball?
I am a 2024 High School grad, I have a 3.93 GPA, I go to North Cross School in Roanoke, VA. and I play for the 17u Dirtbags. I got into baseball around the age of 3 or 4 when my dad got me one of those big barrel whiffle ball bats. I loved hitting and playing with my dad, so when summer came around that year my mom signed me up for rec ball. They didn’t have Tee-ball so i jumped right into coach pitch. I’ve loved the game ever since.
What position(s) do you play, and what are some of the strengths and weaknesses of your game?
I play 3B/RHP/ and some first base. I like to think my hitting is one of my strengths as I have been a strong kid my whole life. I’m always trying to learn and get better, but ever since I’ve started the way the game flows just clicked for me. A weakness of mine is my speed, that I’ve had to make up with good jumps and understanding of the game. Another strength of mine is my arm I feel like it’s pretty solid. i sit 80s across the diamond and 85 on the mound topping out at 88.
How do you stay motivated to improve your skills and keep pushing yourself to get better?
The love of the game keeps me going, along with my need and want to be the best. I have never liked not starting or getting played over so I have always put in the work before and after practice on weekends and even after games. On another note,
